The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap. It does not lend itself to protocol. It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants. Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility. A civilized man should avoid this mania.

My grandmother had an LP of Andy Griffith that had that on it plus his version of Carmen and Romeo & Juliet ("Romeo Romeo where forth art thou Romeo", he popped up and said "I'm right cheer") I bet I listened to it a hundred times. Good stuff. He was one of a kind. |
