Ford also said he had bought tickets to tonight's game, long before the Draft process, and when he told the Astros he would be there, they told him if he wanted to sign tonight, "Let's get it done."

Hell, back in the day, you could buy a ticket, show up at the ballpark, and end up playing in the game that day. I mean, back in like the 1870's-kinda back in the day.

Link 2: SS James Howick (21st), 2B Ruben Sosa (23rd), RHP James Propst (38th) and LHP James Hardoin (47th). They've now signed 25 of their 50 picks.

Link 3: Astros also announce the signing of two non-drafted FAs today: LHP Steven Dennison (Wheaton College) and LHP Paris Shewey (Washington St.).
