I have to say, I know almost nothing about the guys we got in return and, frankly, don't care until they either make it or don't.

The only thing I'm genuinely happy about this morning is that Roy will never have the club record for wins.

I mean seriously.   Fuck that guy.

Are you that naive, to think that the Astros won't try to bring him back in the twilight of his career for one last shot, and then he can retire as a 'Stro? Then, the next year, they can have a big ceremony to retire Roy-O's number! And a few months later, Roy-O bobblehead Night! Then the next year, it's Roy-O breaks the Astros Wins Record Commemorative Mouse Pad Night! And of course the year after that, Astros announce that Roy-O has been hired as a Special Assistant to the GM!

I actually had considered that.

Then I realized he's already in the twilight of his career and got over it.

I don't put it past the Astros but I really don't see Roy giving two shits about the record. Maybe if they threw multi-millions at him.

This has all happened so fast it feels like a Haitian Divorce. I’m just glad that Wade gave the Cards the East St Louis Toodle Oo. I think the only way Oswalt would have gone there is With a Gun. Naming them as a leading trade partner was Pretzel Logic. Only a Fool Would Say That. I am also very pleased with the trade and flip. You should always Throw Back the Little Ones.

With the Berkman trade now pending this is starting to feel like Black Friday. It’s like Chain Lightning. A True Change of the Guard. But, give Lance a few month with the Show Biz Kids and he’ll come running home telling us that Daddy Don’t Live in That New York City No More.

It's sad to see Berkman go, but most athletes, are just show biz kids making movies of themselves. You know they don't give a fuck about anybody else.
