That was definitely a lousy throw from Everett, but it's likely there's not even the need for a throw if Pence doesn't do his little chicken hop thing out there after picking up the ball.

It didnt help that Ausmus for some reason seemed determine to keep his foot on the plate, as if there was a force, instead of going and getting the ball.
