Obviously Garner did not consult Jim today.

Might be an attempt to get OP's bat going. He's been scuffling pretty badly. Garner may be trying to get Orlando's bat going.

4 for 30 on the season, last hit 4/23 in PHI. No extra base hits.

wtf, no Luke? I can understand the desire to kick start Palmeiro's bat, but I'd rather have some lefty pop in the lineup tonight.

as a starter or a temporary lefty option for Garner to play with in the pen? why not just ditch Moehler and stick with Randolph?

Apparently. Albers hit him with a warm-up throw before last night's game and apparently (according to Brownie and JD) he's hurting enough tonight to be out of the line-up. Doesn't sound too serious, though.

maybe Lee should try hitting the ball off the end of the bat everytime. having more luck with that than squaring up on the pitch.

4 runs in their last 4 games? That's depressing.

Those uniforms are exactly the same as the Astros'.  Why don't the Astros wear gray on the road anymore?
