Does Borkowski deserve a shot at the rotation? I like the way he pitches...kinda like Sampson. He throws strikes.

oh, man, the sign of the apocoplyse. bork's good though...

When was the last time you saw Berkman turn on a fastball left handed and it didn't go out?

That scares me.

Three scorchers right to fielders. They can't buy a fuckin' hit.

Who put the black cloud over us?

This is numerous innings too late, but man, that big chick in the red tank top that was waving her giant arms at the camera earlier... Woof.
in the 4th my wife pointed out that she hasn't been on camera without chewing/eating since the game started.  i started paying attention then, and I never saw her without a mouthful.

Owings going for the CG. 104 pitches thru 8.

Utterly disgusting.

Any thoughts on what McLemore's stuff looked like?  I *LOVE* baseball on the radio but you can't get a feel for a guy--wait, no, that's not what I meant (NTTAWWT)--until you see him.

He kept the ball down. After the first 7 innings the batters were caught completely off guard.

It seems like we've faced quite a few Cy Young-worthy candidates lately... just our luck!

Who gives a fuck? Are any of us employed by them? Our instincts should be suspended out of pure inepitetude. Consciousness is a good thing....

God damn it. Is Everett an idiot? I'm some fucking jackoff sitting at home yet I know that he's going to get a first pitch FB likely for a strike. Which he did. And he took it. And I also knew that he was going to get a breaking ball off the plate for the next pitch, which he did, and he swung, no chance of contact.

It's like these fucking guys have no idea what the pitch sequence might be. It's like they don't have any sort of plan whatever.

Yes, yes, AE's not the problem offensively, I agree completely, but that at bat just encapsulates so neatly how fucking stupid so many of the Astros are at the plate time and time again.

AE and Ausmus definitely aren't the problem. The fact that they're worst at their position, offensively, in the entire MLB...doesn't help

Every time I read one of these recent responses and my feeble brain tries to formulate a response, I catch a glimpse of Curly's avatar where Sir Nolan has Robin Ventura in a headlock and is proceeding to beat the holy crap out of him and I just smile.

Sorry, I'm of no help.
