The New York-Penn League Top 20 Prospects list issued by BA includes the following Tri-City players:
- C Max Sapp (#4)
- OF Jordan Parraz (#7)
- LHP Chris Salamida (#18)
Lots of top draft picks get assigned to the New-York Penn League and its a tribute to the scouting that the ValleyCats placed a guy on the list (Salamida) who wasn’t all that highly-touted coming out of college.
