The Astros and starting pitcher  Zeke Astacio got the Silver Boot right up their arse Saturday during a ridiculous 3:00 pm start in Arlington, losing 18-3 in the 98? heat.

Astacio was  pounded  for 9 earned runs including four dingers in less than 2 innings of work. The bullpen also caved in trying to mop up the mess, allowing 4 more dingers and 9 more runs.

“We didn’t pitch very good,” Houston manager Phil Garner said. “We made a bunch of mistakes and they didn’t miss ‘em. It was a tough go. I’ve been concerned since the first week. I’ve got no answers.”

The Astros will attempt to salvage a game of this series Sunday at 1:05.  Roy Oswalt  vs. Chan Ho Park.
